Rose Arches are very popular and can create ‘hidden’ and mysterious entrances to gardens. It takes a couple of seasons for most climbers to take hold of a rose arch but once in place they are an absolute treat when the flowers are showing. Most climbing roses have a long flowering season though careful tying in and pruning are essential if the arch is a busy pedestrian point. Nothing worse than having your designer gear torn by a rose thorn.
We create Compost Bins to fit. Large gardens require at least 3 bins to take all of the waste throughout the season. I like to keep one bin solely for leaves, I believe that leaf mould is a superb conditioner and would never dream of wasting the generous fall in autumn. Our bins are solid sided with slat fronts (not sure that slat fronts are entirely useful, but they are traditional I suppose) and we finish them off with a fence preservative.
Bird Tables and Bird Boxes these are a specialty and can be constructed to suit.
Small Mammal Boxes and Insect Boxes these boxes are designed to suit such animals as hedgehogs, toads and insects of all type. It is also possible to create natural type beehives. It is amazing just how quickly some of these boxes are colonised once place suitably in the garden.
