We suspected that the crowds would be out in vast numbers today, the weather was fantastic and summer hols in full swing. Driving from Kilnsey where we parked the first car was a treat and I was looking forward to the walk immensely. Evelyn (my Aunty) had raised her children in Grassington and I was keen to re-aquaint myself with the place.
Initially the riverbank was easy and the path obvious, clearly hordes had trooped the colour this way before us.
