... and the point is?
Get the flock out of here
Who knows what the point is? Your guess is as good as mine. Did Shipton know? Does Ronaldinho know?

We all become gripped by something in the course of our lives, and some itches just need to be scratched.

Our walk began with a car trip to Ilkley one summer’s day to check it out...along with Bolton Abbey and a drive through the Yorkshire Dales. We realised that views from the car were inadequate and decided to walk the Dales Way to get a better idea. So we did our own version of that, and we haven’t stopped walking since ... that’s it.

Here we are a few years further down the line and an awful lot of miles under our feet. I have purposely retained the same pair of boots but will be hanging them up when the great day at Edale has passed.

Muddle along with us if you wish, by reading the different stages. Each day walk will eventually have it’s own page. Almost all of our walks were done on a Sunday, and seldom did we do 2 consecutive days on the route.

Many walks involved 2 cars, one parked at the beginning and one at the end. We have travelled from Windermere to the east coast many times and back in the day and even walked over the border into to another country.

It has been worth it...every step and blister.
