Gardener’s Assistant / Drivers / Student Gardeners
Presently we have a vacancy for a Gardener’s Assistant we are taking applications from people who are enthusiastic about working outside and can handle all weather conditions. It is important to be prepared to work physically hard, however, much of the work will be undemanding gardening. Most people quickly build strength and the appropriate knowledge.
It isn’t imperative to know a tremendous amount about horticulture, but some basic knowledge would be useful.
Having your own transport and a clean driving licence is imperative if you want a driving/gardener post as our contracts range from Great Langdale to south Kendal.
We always employ student gardeners for high summer and you wouldn’t need to drive for these positions.
